From the business
In the shop's own words: “A family-run tow truck, answering at any hour”
On The Go Towing is a family operation based on Clayton Ave in Modesto. Ed takes the calls, and more often than not it's Ed and his son who roll up to the shoulder, the driveway, or the center divide where you're waiting. We run 24 hours a day, seven days a week, because breakdowns don't keep business hours. Customers regularly reach us at six in the morning after calling half a dozen other companies with no answer. We pick up, give a straight quote, and get moving. Every car we've hooked is somebody's day going sideways. That's why drivers tell us we were fast, fair, and easy to deal with, and why we've earned a 5-star rating across 21 Google reviews.
- Open 24 hours, every day of the year
- Family owned and operated: you deal with the owner
- Straight, reasonable quotes over the phone
Services

Round-the-clock towing anywhere in Modesto, with a clear price quoted before we hook up. Early mornings, late nights, weekends: the phone gets answered.
Freeway & Roadside Recovery
Disabled in a live traffic lane or the center divide of Hwy 99? We assess the scene first, then recover the vehicle safely and get it off the freeway.

Dead battery, no charge, no problem. We've towed a completely dead Tesla Model X to the nearest supercharger and can do the same for you.

We'll get you to your mechanic, or point you toward a reasonable one if you don't have one yet. Drivers have called the whole process seamless.
