How listings work
What “Verified” means here
Every listing on Verified Local Shops starts from public business information: the name, address and phone number a business publishes, the hours and rating shown on its Google listing, and the services it advertises. We do not visit the businesses, and we are not affiliated with them. A listing in that state is unverified, and its page says so.
A listing becomes ✓ Verified when the owner claims it. Claiming means a person who answers for the business signed in, confirmed the phone number, hours and address, and took over the website we had already built for it. From then on the details on this page are theirs to keep current, and the mark tells you that someone stands behind them.
What the mark does not mean
It is not a review, a license check, or a recommendation. Ratings on every page are Google's, shown as published, and may have changed since. For licensed trades, check the license with the state board before you hire.
