Lilly’s Design is Montclair’s go-to fabric shop, filled wall to wall with bolts of modern, floral, traditional, and outdoor canvas fabric. Walk in and you will find trims, batting, foam sheets in every thickness, and a team ready to help you choose exactly what a chair, sofa, or set of drapes needs.
We handle the work ourselves too. Chairs, ottomans, loveseats, and even a vintage nursery rocker have come through our shop for new foam and fresh fabric, and we cut swatches free of charge so you can try color and pattern at home before committing.
Ours is a family business, and we treat every project, from a single chair to a full room of drapery, with the same care and attention.

We strip old cushions down to the frame and rebuild them with new foam and the fabric of your choice, from a single accent chair to a full living room set.
Fabric & Upholstery Materials
Our showroom is stocked wall to wall with fabric bolts in modern, floral, traditional, and outdoor canvas patterns, plus upholstery trims, batting, and foam sheets in every thickness.
Custom Drapes & Curtains
We sew custom drapes and curtains to fit your windows exactly, working from the same fabric library we use for upholstery.
Chair Covers & Awnings
Beyond furniture, we make chair covers and awnings, cutting and sewing whatever fabric project you bring us.
