From the business
In the shop's own words: “Straight Talk, Solid Work”
Auto Mechs has built a reputation across Oakland for the kind of honesty that's hard to find in an auto shop. Customers come to us with problems other mechanics couldn't solve, from stubborn electrical gremlins to everyday maintenance, and leave with a clear explanation of what was wrong and what it took to fix it.
We work on cars and trucks of all makes and models, handling everything from cooling system repairs to oil leaks with the same careful attention. When a job calls for it, we take the time to track down issues that have lingered for years instead of patching over the symptoms.
We're glad to be one of the shops Oakland drivers call first when something under the hood doesn't add up.
- Straightforward, honest diagnostics
- Skilled with hard-to-find electrical issues
- Fair pricing for the work performed
- Solves problems other shops couldn't
