From the business
In the shop's own words: “The Shop That Comes to You”
Marin Mobile Mechanic is owner-operated by Rick, and that changes everything about how car repair feels. There's no waiting room, no shuttle ride, no leaving your car at a shop for days. Rick comes to your driveway, your office, or wherever your car decided to quit, diagnoses the problem on the spot, and communicates clearly at every step. Customers across Marin County call on us for everything from transmission trouble and worn ball joints to a dead alternator on the side of the road in Novato. When a part needs ordering, Rick tracks it down fast: in one recent job, he sourced and installed the correct ball joints in under 48 hours, sooner than any shop could. We're available seven days a week, 9 AM to 7 PM, and our work speaks for itself: a 4.9-star rating across 56 Google reviews. You may also get a visit from Cowboy, the amazingly sweet dog who tags along on the job.
