In the shop's own words: “A South Gate shop that answers to its own name”
J's Body Shop sits on Atlantic Avenue in South Gate, and the person who runs it is the person you talk to. Maria owns the shop and handles customers directly; Julio does the bodywork and paint. There's no service writer between you and the people touching your car.
Most of what comes through our doors is collision damage — panels to straighten, parts to replace, paint to match. Our customers tell us the same two things afterward: that they couldn't tell the car had been in an accident, and that the price was fair. We'd rather earn that than advertise it.
We're open Monday through Friday, 8 to 5, and Saturday mornings until 2 — because not everyone can drop a car off midweek.
