Ricks Auto Repair

From the business

In the shop's own words: “Straight talk, fair prices, and cars that run right”

Rick's Auto Repair has been fixing cars in Stockton long enough that customers now bring in the kids they used to bring in car seats. At the front desk, Bruce and the team look at the actual problem before quoting anything, so you know what you're paying for before the work starts.

People come to us after another shop wanted to charge just to plug in a scanner, or quoted a repair that turned out to be a simple fix. We run the diagnostic, tell you what we find, and get the price right the first time, whether it's a check engine light or an aging engine that just needs the right hands on it.

We know it's hard to trust a mechanic, especially if you've felt talked down to or overcharged before. Every car that comes through our doors gets the same treatment: an honest look, a fair price, and work we're glad to put our name on.

• No diagnostics fee
